Savage 10fp 308 was my go to rifle this year. Found a good load with 180 berger EH and aa4064. Velocity @2725fps. Wife took an antelope at 260yds, I took a bull at 400yds and she also got a cow at 425yds. All dead within 20yds.

My decision on my can was weight, length and available. I went with dead air nomad ti and couldn’t be happier. Running on a 20” savage 10fp, also ordered a new barrel in 300wsm at 18” for short and light setup.

Thanks for the info. I have savages, and have a shilen 243ai on one action and it shoots easily .50 moa. Also have a r700 that I’m wanting to rebarrel for a hunting rifle, if I had to put work into r700, I would rather just start with a origin action.

Those that are doing remage and shooting 1/2” groups. Are you all truing or doing action work to action first?

300 saum, 175 LRX @ 3030 fps. Last 6 years has taken 8 elk.
