Hi I recently tried shooting at 1000 yards. My grouping was 6 inches at 1000 yards. wind conditions calm at 2 knots temperature 16 degrees. projectile 180 grain Remington factory load. At 200 yards I get pin hole groups, so is it just the ammo or is this me at 1000 ??? How do I improve?

Tried 180gr Remington this morning. Shot jagged pin hole at 200yards. Question is it worth reloading and would these shoot 1000 yards

IMR4195 or ar2207 shoots really good through my sons.

Thanks magnummaniac. I have a lot of properties where I can shoot out to about 1500. I don't know of any ranges where I can shoot 1000 around ballarat. Do you have a preference in brass and primers. Thanks again. gun):)

Hi I am new to the 1000 yard shooting with 300 win mags and I would like to know what load would be best and the speed I would be looking at and projectile. I have shot out to 600 yards frequently but would like to try the 1000 yard mark. Can any one help ? gun):)

I use 40 grain hpbt Nosler ballistic tip pushed at 3780fps. I have a T3 204 and it shoots pin hole at 100yards. It is perfect on foxes at any range out to 500 with minimal damage.
