    Leica Geovid Ranging Binos

I'm not sure about him and trade-ins, but it would surely be worth an ask. What you can pick up from him are open-box or previous display items. He typically runs a pretty good discount off of sticker price for these. A good number are the latest and greatest, but occasionally he has some...

    Ruger M77 Magnum .416 Rigby

I had it done. Drove to the shop here in MI and they did it that day.

    Ruger M77 Magnum .416 Rigby

Looking to move the pictured single owner Ruger Magnum Express Rifle Chambered in 416 Rigby. Rife was bought new in 1995 and only occasionally shot. As the pictures show this is an outstanding rifle in excellent condition. The gun has been hunted a few times and shows little evidence of this...

    Value?

Not so with the Nikon products. They are not producing, but are still completing any and all service/warranty work. I've had both a scope (that I damaged), and binos in since their cease in production without any issues.

    Value?

This is some good feedback. I was looking to sell it all as a package (rifle, scope, dies, brass, and remaining ammo) and was hoping to list it for about $2k all in - but maybe that's too steep. I do have quite a bit of brass, and probly about 2 or 3 boxes of ammo left.

    Value?

I'm strongly considering selling my Sako V 7mm STW, but have no idea what would even be a reasonable asking price. I have it topped with a Nikon Titanium 5.5-16x44 AO and would let it go with the dies, brass, and the couple boxes of ammo that I have left. I know what I have into it, but wasn't...

what is your favorite LR broadhead?

When setting up for a longer range western or tundra hunt, I always reach for my two blades. They are solids - not vented, but I have never had a properly tuned setup let me down. I've taken a ton of caribou and speed goats at 100+ yards with zero issues, and that's even with substantial wind...

    Leica Geovid Ranging Binos

Both my wife and I run the 10x42 Geovids and upgrade every 5 years to their newer model. We bowhunt with them more than rifle hunt, and they are the cat's meow. I've looked at the Swaros and Zeiss - but since we bowhunt we wanted something that could go sub-20 yards and that left us with only...

    Brown bear Rifle

If you're a NR and hunting with an outfitter - most will have minimum caliber expectations. I've taken a nice brown - but over in Russia and at relatively close range. Personally I'd say a .338 WM minimum - but as so many have said...it's all about shot placement. Caliber can be an irrelevant...

    Sitka Gear

My wife and I do a TON of backpack hunting and off the grid excursions, and we primarily run Sitka gear. If you have a good friend network, someone will be able to hook you up with a discount code - or watch for sales on sites like Mountain Archery. They tend to get lots of closeouts and year...

What age do you think kids should start shooting?

I see it mentioned time and time again in this thread - but it's when you think they are ready. Do they have the mental acuity to comprehend what they're doing, the safety needs of the exercise, and the result of what happens when they pull the trigger? Are you able to invest in the proper...

204 or 223 for Prairie Dogs

I always ran a 223 or 22-250 for our PD hunts, but I haven't been in years. I never would have thought of taking the 204 out. With the availability of ammo for the 223 and the amount of 22-250 that I have loaded up for just such an occasion it would just make more fiscal sense. Our group...

Bino harness for Leica geovid 3200.com 10x42

My wife and I both run the Marsupial for our 10x42 Geovids absolutely love them. We had AGCs before and the flap was problematic for us as we are also avid archery hunters.
