I use 165 gr Silvertip with 68.5 gr IMR 4350, 3150 fps, out of a Browning SS Stalker. Taken antelope, elk and deer. Took a big mule deer at 612yds with this load.

5 shot 3/4” moa at 100yds……67.5 gr IMR 4350, 168 gr CT silvertip, 3100 FPS. I’ve tried half dozen other powders and bullets. Nothing compares to this load. Keep looking imho.

Can’t speak to other WSM’s, but my 300wsm browning stainless steel stalker is the most accurate out of the box rifle I’ve ever owned. It’s my go to gun. Topped with Leupold Vx6 3x18 50mm, 165gr nosler BT @ 3200 5shot group 3/4 moa. last long range kill - WY mule deer 612 yds. I’ll put it up...

300 WSM, 165 gr CT SilverTip, 3150 fps mv - 203yds - mid chest directly behind left front shoulder. 6 pt didn't go more than 8 yds. Through shot, did not recover bullet, sizable exit trauma.
