ah :) 6.5 swede I've been competing in long range and prs with mine for the past few years running the 130gr norma at aprox 2950fps with the VV n160 powder cci 200 primers and norma brass (47gr) Recently i switched to 140gr RDF and are running those with the same powder at about 2850fps...

The berger 140 hunting vld work just fine for moose, at least here in Sweden, they're a good long range option but if you're gonna stay within 300yd id give the 160gr Hornady RN a look, it's the go too bullet for a lot of moose hunters up north with the 6.5x55 Or perhaps even better, the 160gr...

Here's my 2 cents First long range rifle without breaking the bank? 6.5 creed (or 260) of your choosing with a athlon or vortex scope (midas or viper hs-t perhaps?) Load it up with 130's, perhaps berger vld hunting? And you'll be able to take medium size game and even elk out to perhaps 500...

Correct me if i'm wrong, but you might/should be able to go with the 185's with that twist in that rifle, perhaps some issues when you hit trans/subsonic? gun)
