300PRC, 6-284 (not 6.5-284) and 22 GT covers the entire long gun SPECTRUM. I might sneak in a new 7PRC thinking they will ROCK.

I have four belted mags, two 300WM, one 264WM, and one 7RM and luv them all. But, for long range mountain ridge hunting and bags of foot pounds leftover I'll take my 300PRC everytime. You have to shoot one to know.

Have you bore scoped front end? Suspect that copper fouling might be the culprit on most new, yet broken in barrel. Just a few shots MVs over 3000 FPS can copper up much more than you can imagine on new barrel. I would mild patch pressure lap barrel with JB Bore Bright about 10 strokes clean...

Recently had experienced similar sizing issue and found using one shot spray didn’t cut it. So went back to imperial wax (knowing I would need to clean afterwards), and the numbers changed and came out far more to what was expected.
