Bedding. Barrel condition (how fouled). My 3 featherweights are bedded to the tip and are very happy. If a wood stock the forend have any roll to it? All three of mine twisted enough to slap the side of the barrel... Just a thought but bedding helps for sure if none....

XXX are picky about depth. .050" is normal from lands. Load up some between and see what works. It's the only way you will know.... What load are you running now? Have always had great luck with 72g of RL22. 215M and the 100's... The Nosler 110 Acubonds shoot well also...

This is an early trigger. The vertical tab shown on the left is one that sits in a small notch in your bolt when in safety. The right one is shown in fire position. The safety on your trigger stops just past the tip of the ball clip. It would be very easy to just have a tab welded to your safety...
