Would it fit in mag with a max length of 3.380?

Another issue that I might have is my max mag length is only 3.380. Is it long enough for the Gibbs and/or the Sherman?

I'm looking to do a new 6.5 build which I was kinda set on a Gibbs but after talking to a bunch of smiths and barrel makers I'm not so sure now. Looking for input from the fellas that know! The gun is going to be my mountain gun, so I'm looking for speed to power the 127 LRX along.

Just getting things ready to start my 6.5 build, and was wondering if anyone knows if a 6.5 Gibbs will work with a sako 85 M action. Now I know it'll work with a 270, or 30-06 but is the mag box long enough for a 6.5 Gibbs? Thanks in advance for the info!!
