Some college before enlisting. Vietnam/Korea Veteran, US Army 1968-1971. Traveled for a few years after ETS. Returned to California with my wife, worked in, and finally purchased the family insurance brokerage where I worked for over 40 years before retiring. Have been a firearms nut since about age 8 or so when my grandfather started me off with a JC Higgins 22 rifle we purchased from Sears. He then got me going on his WWII M1911 and a 12 gauge shotgun. While my boys we little I kept no guns in the house. As they approached teenage years we all started shooting. Spent MANY MANY weekends camping, hunting, fishing, boating, and just about anything outdoors. Now. many decades later, my grandson is included in those activities. I serve on Range Committee at Dillman Range in Lincoln, Ca. Been CCW for well over 20 years - which is a huge fete in California.
