    Scope leveling

Thanks. That video didn’t come up in my search. I just ordered a wedge kit, looks pretty quick and precise. Exactly what I was looking for.

    Scope leveling

I’m looking for a good method to level a scope. I typically have used a plumb bob and lined up the vertical crosshair. Is there a better, more precise method you guys use?

    7mm build

I have a browning hells canyon long range in 7mm RM, 1:8 twist. It shoots the 195’s at about .5 moa and 2800 FPS over 73 grains of rl33. Its not as fast as some of the newer, “cooler” rounds but I’m very happy with the results.

    Long range hunting scope

The bushnell is 28oz, the nightforce is 30oz. 2 oz doesn’t concern me.

    Long range hunting scope

Thanks for the replies. I am currently leaning toward either a bushnell lrts 4-18x44 or a nightforce atacr 4-16x42. For those who asked, my intended purpose is deer sized game out to 600-700 yards.

    Long range hunting scope

    Long range hunting scope

im looking for a good long range hunting scope price range 1-2k. It needs to have adjustable turrets that are not capped and not be a huge tactical type with at least 12x magnification on the high end. I’ve done a ton of research and can’t find exactly what I’m looking for, it seems like...

    Browning Hells Canyon Twist Rate

I didn’t ask specifically, but the guy on the phone instantly knew the answer and was very sure(as if he had already been asked this question a million times). I’m a little surprised there is nowhere on the internet that addresses this. 28 Nosler is listed at 1:9 on the browning website, that...

    Browning Hells Canyon Twist Rate

Since I’m not home for a couple days and I didn’t want to wait to get home and measure it, I called Browning tech support. They confirmed the twist is 1-8”.

    Browning Hells Canyon Twist Rate

I’ll measure the twist when I get back home in a couple days to validate the stamp on the barrel is correct, thanks guys.

    Browning Hells Canyon Twist Rate

I bought a browning hells canyon long range today in 7mm rem mag. Everywhere on the internet says it is a 1:9.5” twist barrel, including brownings website. To my surprise, my barrel is stamped 1:8” twist. Does anyone else have a 7mm HC long range? If so, what is the barrel stamped? I hope it...
