sorry i just saw this. i am using a chamber with a short throat on it so my load is most likely not going to work for you but i am having success with the 208 and H1000. velocity sweet spot is around 3100fps with a 24in 1 10 twist hart barrel

think it depends on the direction you want to go with it. hunting bigger game i would go for the 340. for fun i would do the 6.5-300.

I am running a custom chamber from Hart, 3180 muzzle velocity. haven't had it out in a while. Hornady 208 BTHP Match 83.9gr H1000 Weatherby Brass Fedral 215 primer its hot but cycles fine. seating depth and neck tension are touchy.
