Maybe I'm missing something. And I've smoked & eaten a few wild hogs. Thus, not impressed by the older feral pig's taste no matter how much milk you soak them in.
Reminds me of the day long ordeal in making Chitterlings edible ( "edible" being very subjective term here )
Piglets different story...
Just left GMU 24 this weekend. Tuff hunting only saw tracks of one elk on way out. Heard of several kills but never heard a shot while on 2nd season DIY. Now if I had a moose tag it would have been different story. Lol. Good luck
I’m heading into GMU 24 on a 2nd rifle season DIY hunt. The season has been shortened and I saw all the reports and video regarding the Elk dying this past winter so I was wondering if anybody had really seen Elk in this area. Hopefully it wasn’t as bad as they thought. Anyway, just wondering...

‘‘Twas the night before opening day of deer season, a man walked in and purchased an AR15 ( with ammo ) to hunt deer with and had employee install scope and bore sight so he could go...
Agree with above. Just get a nice Gregory backpack or the old Northface Recon backpack. I have used both for years. You can probably find one on eBay cheaper which shouldn’t matter since it’s going to laying against a horse hide.
I have had excellent service from both Leupold and Nightforce. However, I will say in support of Nightforce durability that the NXS is one tough scope !! My rifle slid off wall and all 10 lbs of rifle hit wood floor solid putting nice little dent in tube area. I sent it off because I just...
Probably so, it’s a compressed load developed and tested for my rifle by friend ( gunsmith ) out of South Carolina who built the 26” rifle above on a Borden Timberline action about 12 years ago. Her name is Lucy ( short for Lucifer, lol ). And that load has accounted for 90% of her elk shots...
