Anybody out there shooting either of these rifles in .308 or 6.5x55? I'm looking for a long range rig and thought that since the .223 and .22 are so accurate that this might be a good choice.

Is there a big difference in the 6.5 -20 and the 8-25? I realize that the numbers are different and that the field of view is different..... Want to get a scope that will get out the a touch things at 500 +yrds..... Have the Buschnell 3200 10 x40 on my 22-250? And am sure that I will need more...

New to the board and new to shooting... have a few friends that are shooting out past 700 with their 300 Win Mags, want to join in on the fun..... I'm thinking that something a little smaller and faster would be better.... maybe a 6 Br or .284.... sure would surprise a coyote sitting out at 700...
