Agreed. The "we didn't know it was illegal" is b.s. as well. Every country in the world has laws and regulations on the taking of animals. You don't get a pass just because you can't be bothered with asking around.

I'm actually trying to talk myself into switching from 7mm to 6.5 CM. Yet, I can't get past that fact I'm not a perfect shot and the perfect broadside shot doesn't always present itself in the field. That said, I'm keeping an open mind.

The 6.5 Creedmore is intriguing, but I have a feeling that in 10-20 years it's going to be no different and maybe worse than my 220 Swift and 7 STW that have very few ammo options which never seem to be in stock. Time will tell and that's a discussion for a different thread.
