I have a few of the ballistics calcs from here and it asks for several factors I dont have ex: powder type?? and ammount?? bullet CE (not sure how much that matters??? Im guessing the more I leave blank the less effective my results will be.. From what I remember reading doesnt the bullet...
I picked up a few battlepacks of surplus ammo from Midway. I am not able to find any "real"ballistics info for this ammo. Ya I know it isnt all that accurate ect... However this is the ammo I am starting with (price was right).
Midway says its winchester but last time I checked they post info...

I used flexible collar 16,17,18 for the eyepiece
and 43&44 OBJ (2.301-2.360) They went on plenty tight.....
My only issue will be focuseing with the cover on...............The cover is a tight fit making it...
I recently recieved my burris XTR 4-16x50 I am now searching for lense covers , desireing flip ups but......... Ok I searched out butler creek only to find out the dont make one that will fit the 50 mm sunshade(2.726 dia.) any more.

I am also looking for covers for my burris 4-16x50. The O.D. of the sunshape is 2.726in. which is a #54 , which according to midway is NOT made anymore???? Is there another brand that is worthy???? Not some off brand where the recoil closes the covers each shot..........

Easy guys ....lol..... I do have a marlin xl7 30.06 as my primary hunting rifle..This 308 is a .820 dia 26 inch barrel on a heavy b/c stock it wount be carried too far lol bout 10lb7oz minus scope and sling. however considering the optics are far better with better scopes higher power isnt...
