I used to get after it a lot more, but these days I would estimate 25 days per year between all the seasons I hunt.

I really like Realtree Edge. My second choice would be Natural Gear.

The .30-06 would be my favorite hands down. With that said, I had a rifle built in 2018 that I drank the Kool-Aid and had it chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. It's now my doe patrol rifle. I've killed exactly 50 whitetail does at the time of this post with that 6.5 Creedmoor. Definitely not the best...

Mine was a Ruger m77 MkII in .30-06. I killed my first buck with that rifle. I have passed it on to my son and he has killed a bunch of deer with that thing.

I once had a Kimber Montana in .308 Winchester. The gun was a shooter, I was the problem. I suppose I am recoil sensitive. That gun kicked the crap out of me. I killed my buck with it that year and it hit the road shortly after season.

Thank you! The company I work for provides gear reducers for conveying systems. I have been to the MillerCoors plant in the dfw area many times. Very nice area. I remember a BBQ restaurant named Bone Daddy's. The food and atmosphere were fantastic.
