104 yard group

I originally got it for a hunting rifle, but as good as it's shooting it'll prob be another target rifle throughout the year. At least I will feel more comfortable take a long range shot at an animal. I've only shot that load through the chrono a few times, and I have a ES of 17.

My shooting eye (right) does the same thing, but my reticle will fade out. Once i blink it will clear again! And then slowly diminish. I have a stigmatism in my right eye, and I believe that is my problem from what I've gathered.

Thanks y'all. I don't have a anti cant bubble on that rig, so I'm hoping I may even be able to shrink it a shade, but I can't complain with hose results one bit. Dgd6mm, I'm glad I went the way other experienced shooters would have gone.

I'm getting 2656 fps out of a 26" barrel with IMR 4895. As long as you don't have any pressure signs I'd say run it, and keep the velocity as high as possible.

I know it's been a little while, but I finally got around to testing these loads a little more, and I switched to the first node in this rifle and split it with 42.2 gr. It's shooting a constant 0.35 MOA group from 100 yards to 910 as of today. I'm getting 2990 fps out of it, and here's a group...

I won't seat a bullet any longer than what the diameter of the bullet is pressed inside the case neck. IE: a .308 bullet would have .308" pressed in the case neck and no less. Just a rule of thumb I try to keep.

That's all of the confirmation I would want too lol Either way that's hard to " luck" into groups like that at grand. I'm sure the guns a tack driver.

Out of curiosity, what is the farthest anyone has accurately been able to personally shoot with the 105 A-Max?

I have a Redfield Rampage straight 20-60x60, and it's very impressive for the price ( +/- $200 depending on where you get it). I shoot all of my test loads on printer paper so I can log them in a binder easily, and it have no problem seeing bullet holes in white paper with my .308 at 300 yards...

I have a good buddy that shot a barrel break-in last weekend when I shot a ladder test, and he too was shooting a brand new savage lrp 260. He also shot some 140 core lokts, and was doing good to 1-1/2 moa. I knowing the cleaning effects them, but even on a 5rd group it was doing so. I...
