If I'm thinking Dream, I would hunt High Altai Argali sheep.
I would take my tack driving 28 Nosler shooting 177g Hammer Hunters.
It's already filled lots of dreams for me.
I had the same quandary as the OP when anticipating a long awaited drawing of an elk tag. I chose to put together a 28 Nosler and when the tag came my choice paid off with one 177g Hammer Hunter in the boiler room
In my experience, NA sheep are not hard to kill. That said I used a 300WSM for three of my four and ended with a little tack driving 6.5 CM.
If I ever draw again I will pack my 6.5x284.

I used a Mystery Ranch on my NWT hunt many years ago but it was way too heavy. I then used a Kuiu for a BC backpack Stone sheep hunt and loved the lighter weight of it. The MR pack was sturdier but the extra weight was not fun.
Well done young man, and Kudos to you Dad for helping him in the process.
My son killed his first muley at age 14 and we haven't missed a year of hunting deer together since.
By the way, he's now 36 with two boys of his own.
Your best days are still ahead.
Where I hunt, physical exertion/working hard/getting away from the crowd, lead to success.
If you look long and hard enough(glassing), you can usually find something good.
Preparation and paying attention to detail pays great dividends.
