    CVA Accura LR-X. Load Help

You didn't mention having a muzzle brake, but I had one that was bored incorrectly for a centerfire rifle resulting in the groups opening up real large like yours are. I had the same brand/style brake installed onto the barrel and properly bored and my groups went back to small again.

    CVA Accura LR-X. Load Help

I recently purchased one also. I'm all in with it, so I hope it doesn't group like yours does. The forearm on mine was like yours. I contacted CVA and they shipped me a new one. It isn't perfect now, but real close. I'm going to tweak it just a bit. I replaced the factory rail with an EGW. I...

Saw BH209 for sale on the shelf at my local Cabela's

Our woke Walmart doesn't sell guns anymore or powder. Through a stroke of luck I found an LGS 10 miles from me that had 20, 8 ounce containers in stock. $69.99 per container. I swallowed hard and grabbed 2 containers.

Saw BH209 for sale on the shelf at my local Cabela's

I don't know as I have always used black powder prior to now. Everywhere I have checked in the last week is out of stock, but all are showing 8 ounce bottles. Apparently they learned from Hershey candy bars about diminishing the size and increasing the price. :) Then again I've been around long...

Saw BH209 for sale on the shelf at my local Cabela's

A little late to the party on this, but you should have grabbed it. Last week Cabela's store in sun Prairie had 8 ounce bottles at around $66 a bottle I believe. It's an hour and 20 minutes from me. I checked 2 days later before driving up there and it was gone. I got extremely lucky and found a...

    Muzzle Brake Recommendations?

You won't find a better or more honest Company to buy from than Harrell's Precision. I use their muzzle brakes and custom reloading dies. I have one of their reloading presses also. Give them a call. https://harrellsprec.com/index.php/products/muzzle-brakes

    CVA Accura LR-X. Load Help

I had an original Remington 700 ML, not the ultra version. I found out quick like during load workup that Blackhorn was a no go with it. It was also miserable to put the primer in and would fill the bolt firing pin and spring with corrosion. I started out with TC Hawkins kit rifles probably 40+...

    CVA Accura LR-X. Load Help

Since we're discussing the CVA Accura and ignition modules, I have a question. I came across this breech plug on Midway USA. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1023215074#reviews Guy in the reviews says it will ignite BH 209 without fail. I have also heard of Winchester Magnum shotshell primers...

Where have all the primers gone?

Perhaps somewhat, and only because of Covid shutdown and supply issues, The situation hasn't eased because of the anti gun policies that the dishonest, energy destroying, economy ruining, gaffe prone, Chinese owned,, puppet named Walter has saddled us with.
