    Form 4 wait times

Since transfers went to $0 I have one customer that has bought a few as an individual so he can get them in 1-3 days, and then does his own transfer to his trust. He doesn’t care how long it takes for that to get approved he’s getting to use them anyway.

    Defiance old vs new

I just got in a Deviant Comp for a client and a Proof prefit for a Ruckus and it was perfect just like everyone before.

    Form 4 wait times

Yes. That is par for the course right now. I’ve gotten back form 4s for individual customers in less than 24 hrs. The last trust transfer I got back took exactly one month.

    Re-Chamber a 22 Creedmoor

The OP. But he quoted you in his and this Gather Forum App isn’t the best.

    Re-Chamber a 22 Creedmoor

I’d still reach out to your guy and tell him ya just got around to shooting it and see what he says. By the way, when Shilen told me to cut an inch off the muzzle that rifle shot absolutely amazing.

    Re-Chamber a 22 Creedmoor

Missing a lot of info here. Why do you think he did something wrong just because you don’t feel it shoots satisfactory? There are so many variables. Might be the scope, the stock, the rings, the mount, the ammo, the nut behind the stock 🙂 might be a bad barrel. Talk to every top barrel maker...

rem 700 trigger failing to reset

I would remove all the screws too if you haven't already and clean all the threads. Then run them all the way in and out. Readjust after that and see what you get. If the trigger is flopping, the connector isn't moving back keeping in contact with the trigger. Not likely the connector...

rem 700 trigger failing to reset

You’ll probably have to bump it up to minimum 3#. I’ve tuned a lot of them and below 3 will usually follow down if you slam the bolt hard. You can try giving it a little more sear engagement first. When you say you’ve cleaned it, have you removed all the internals ?

Looking to built a precision rifle

I’m loving my 22 CM. Ive only been able to shoot out to 650. It’s so dang accurate it’s almost boring. I’m putting together a 6GT right now for a customer that shoots PRS. That seems to be a real popular round.

Why am I keeping this 6.5 Creedmoor for COYOTES???

I prefer a short action but if ya ain’t fur hunting dead is dead.

    Aero problems AR-10

Is the 8.6 upper on the same 308 lower? If so, it's likely to be in the barrel extension if it runs smooth in a different upper. I would pull the barrel and take just the bolt and see how it fits in the barrel extension. Should rotate freely and have at least .010" between the front of the...

    Humidity Level For Firearms/Reloading

40%-50% is considered ideal. Low enough to reduce the risk of rust but not so low it’s hard on wood stocks. Below 30% is hard on wood.

So Form 1 denied, what now?

I’d agree. Just submit the form 1 yourself. If you have someone local like myself who can do your digital prints and offers a service to help you submit the form then go that route. Although photos of the firearm are not mandatory, it is highly recommended. I’ve help numerous folks submit...

So Form 1 denied, what now?

I’ve never used Silence Shop since I’m a class 3 dealer. But bad or incomplete photos are one of the main reasons they’ll reject a Form 1. I’m guessing you took and had to upload the photos to SS and they submit it for you. It is possible the photos you sent were too large and if they reduced...

Opening up a Savage Accustock barrel channel

Well, I was gonna let someone reply that might have done one but since no takers I’ll chime in. I’ve not done one of those but from your pic it appears you may only have to widen the channel. It looks to be fairly hollow in the bottom. Not sure how wide your new barrel is but you should be...
