Hello, I just picked up a weatherby 7STW. I have 150 scirocco's and 160 accubonds. I have a wide variety of powder to work with. Does anybody have a load they would be willing to share? this is my first .284 so have not played around much with this caliber. Thanks LT

I would use retumbo and 200 AB I get 3300 out of my gun and a three shot average of .6 for the 180 partitions I use H4831 and get the same result for a group but I have never shot it over my chrono. Keep us posted how your doing. LT

JL, I have found 2 powders that work well in my 30-378. The first is H4831SC and 180 grain partition is extremely accurate. If you like a bigger pill try Retumbo and a 200 accubond mine shoots this combo around .5. I did try H50BMG but I could not get anything under 1 inch still not bad but...

I got 2 ultrasound cleaners. They both work great at cleaning. I also have a RCBS tumbler. I use my ultrasound cleaners more on cleaning my dies and fishing gear. My cleaners are small and can't do mass quantity versus what I can put in my tumbler. Also it takes a good 24 hours to clean...

I can shoot 130 grain accubonds at 100 inch and a half. I am having trouble shooting 150 grain bullets as well. I only have about 40 rounds down the pipe.

The barrel is 1 in 10 twist. My seating depth is how far I can seat them in the magazine. I don't know the correct way of doing this. Because of the freebore. I dies are set up per RCBS instructions. hope this helps Aaron
