    Long Range Accubond Recovered

Most of my shooting has been from 200-500 yards. My elevations at those ranges were perfect using .318. Furthest I have gone is 890 yds. 3 shots hitting about 1.5 moa at that distance and on target. The gun is 0.5 moa at 200 yards. I definitely need to do some more testing but am getting close.

    Long Range Accubond Recovered

Thanks for all the kind responses everyone. I look forward to testing the bullet on a bigger animal but as you all know, an Arizona elk tag can be hard to come by, even for a resident. On another note, a G7 BC of 0.318 is what I have settled on.

    Long Range Accubond Recovered

I took this coues buck on Monday morning right at 500 yards. I was shooting my new 300 Win Mag with Noslers new 210 grn Long Range Accubond. The bullet liked being pushed hard with my best groups at a muzzle velocity of 2860 fps. At 500 yards the velocity should have been around 2250...

Can't find the value .257 rbts

The guns were stolen from my mom's house as I was in college at the time. I know that a police report was filed with Tucson PD and I followed up with the officer for the first year afterwards without any luck. Also regularly hit the gunstores and pawnshops since a .257 roberts isn't the most...

Can't find the value .257 rbts

I had a Remington 700 in 257 roberts that myself, my dad, my uncle, and my aunt all shot our first deer with. About 10 years ago some low-life broke in and stole it along with a couple shotguns that were also handed down. That 257 was a sweet shooting, fun to carry gun. Still makes me angry...

Muzzel break blew off on the first shot!

So is there any way to rethread a new muzzle break and salvage the barrel at it's current length? Does that barrel have to be cut shorter, recrowned, and rethreaded? If so, I'd say the smith owes you a new barrel too!

    J107 Eberlestock dragon fly

J107 Eberlestock dragon fly at the LRH Store. My brother has the hunting version of the J107 and his Tikka T3 in 300WM with a Leupold MK4 6.5-20 and a harris bipod fits in the scabbard. Snug but it fits. What do you lose in the J107M to make room for the larger scabbard? Do you lose the...

    Trouble with Eberlestock pack

Eberlestock sells extension straps entended to solve the original issue of the compression straps not being long enough for a large load. Check out the accessories section of their website. As far as carrying weight and how the pack rides. I didn't like it at first and felt that the center...
