You can easily remove the blade and jb weld in the slit left in the trigger. That's what I did mine would decock the rifle with a straight pull every so often.

Forget about it. I use to live close to the U.P. and I like a good cheese curd. The rifle is no longer keyholing and it will be a fine shooter.

I can't fault you, If my wife found out how many .223, .308, and 30-06 `s I have I would need a lawyer. At the end of the day I cozy up with my .308`s. They just seem to be very consistent with a very pleasing recoil. P.S just got into cast bullets with 14 grs. Of red dot behind them...

I like Remington's, Howas, Savages but except for accustocks (which I like), I have a closet full of Tupperware stocks. Generally the first thing I do is a trigger job, Bell and Carlson sporter or Tactical stock and break in the barrel. I like the laminate stock on my Ruger Gunsite Scout though.

What does corn cob barrel mean. Is that what the posh people call what the common man can afford? If it is I'm proud I am what I am. I wouldn't trade my shooting skills and experience for all of your $1500 barrels and cucumber sandwiches between rounds. IMHO gun)
