Making A Case For The 308 Winchester By Michael Eichelle

I own the same rifle and I have about 2500,rounds down the pipe. Shoots as good as ever. Bullets powder and primer are a little hard to come by these days. I am currently shooting hard cast lead bullets through mine and it is a joy to learn a new black art. This will also extend the life of the...

    I don't want to kill you, let's call it a semi-boat tail.

You can easily remove the blade and jb weld in the slit left in the trigger. That's what I did mine would decock the rifle with a straight pull every so often.

That's why the title is wow! I do stuff ear plugs in the muzzle and foam rubber and frog tape off the inside of the action. I burnished the crown to remove the dura-coat. I can't explain it. Just glad it stopped. I have never experienced it.

Forget about it. I use to live close to the U.P. and I like a good cheese curd. The rifle is no longer keyholing and it will be a fine shooter.

Making A Case For The 308 Winchester By Michael Eichelle

I can't fault you, If my wife found out how many .223, .308, and 30-06 `s I have I would need a lawyer. At the end of the day I cozy up with my .308`s. They just seem to be very consistent with a very pleasing recoil. P.S just got into cast bullets with 14 grs. Of red dot behind them...

I think the point is that it no longer keyholes after the first 45 rounds with the break in process. What ever was there is gone. gun)

    Remington 700 quality

I like Remington's, Howas, Savages but except for accustocks (which I like), I have a closet full of Tupperware stocks. Generally the first thing I do is a trigger job, Bell and Carlson sporter or Tactical stock and break in the barrel. I like the laminate stock on my Ruger Gunsite Scout though.

I love my 111 fcns 30-06 accustock, accutrigger. After de-lawering the trigger (it was decocking) and cut, crown and threading the barrel for a muzzle brake. I will camo duracoat it soon. It shoots 1/2" groups at 100 yds consistantly with Sierra MK 210 gr. Yes I am anal, I seldom leave a new...

What does corn cob barrel mean. Is that what the posh people call what the common man can afford? If it is I'm proud I am what I am. I wouldn't trade my shooting skills and experience for all of your $1500 barrels and cucumber sandwiches between rounds. IMHO gun)
