    33 Nosler

I'd try the 7828ssc . It's my powder in my 30 Nosler and one of the recommended powders for 33 Nosler with 225 gr.

    Rifle Insurance

I have bought insurance thru my homeowners just before the trip and cancel it when I get back. They charge you for the 6mth term but will refund remaining time when you cancel. Fairly reasonable this way.

    Sitka Gear

Been using Sitka Gear for 4 years now. I have their mid weight and heavy bibs and coat along with a few accessories . Their gear is top notch and they have the best warranty in the business.

    Booner Sitka Blacktail

Welcome to LRH, that's a great deer. I'm envious, only been to Alaska once on a great DIY moose hunt.

7mm-08 questions I need thoughts new to reloading

I load my daughter's 7/08 with 120 Barnes with IMR 4895. Shoots very well with no recoil (she's 110lbs). We shoot deer out to 250yards

    Bullet Weight for Deer Hunting

I use the 150gr Barnes TTSX with H1000. Very accurate and flat shooting. I’ve used it on deer and elk. My gun is a 7STW Improved

    Which 30 cal?

I’ve had my 30 Nosler for 5 years and it has become my go to cartridge. I haven’t had any trouble finding components . It’s easy to reload. Great long range cartridge

    25-06 ai

Just set up a 25/06 with 121gr hammers. They require a minimum 1 in 8 twist. Ours was a 7.5. It was one of the easiest set ups I’ve done. With the bullets out there I’d go at least 1 in 8

    Nosler accubond

I have had the same experience. Used 140 gr accubond in my 7mm STW Imp. Pushed them around 3250 and twice I had them disintegrate on impact on whitetail does at 50 and 65 yards. That was shortly after Nosler started producing them.

    Gun safe recommendations?

I’ve ive had a Summit since 04 and it has been great. I keep mine in the garage since I couldn’t get it in the basement. Summit is one of the heaviest for size safes out there and weight is strength. I would get a key pad and buy the biggest safe you can afford because none of them are big enough.

    WHAT CALIBER???

Since you don’t reload I would choose 300WM so that you always have ammo, but I would send the gun out to a custom reloader if you want to hunt out to 800 yards to maximize accuracy.
