I finished my first custom AR Rguns lower (nothing special YET) with a Shurluk 1-7 twist 24" bull barrel upper. I just got. POF P308 stripped lower for Christmas. The sky is the limit on this build, I will post pics of my progress.

If you go to Ruger's website under Mini 14's they have a video talking about the improvements they made to the Mini 14 because of the AR'S we basicly kickin their ***. (In so many words)

I have a Target model Mini 14 with a Konus 4.5 - 16 x 40mm scope. All I have been able to do is site it in at indoor range at 25 yards. I recently joined a range with a 400 yard range. I will let you know how it does. From what I seen on line the Target model was shooting good groups at 300...

I have a DPMS lite and my wife has a Bushmaster. They are both awesome AR's. I got mine used with all of the goodies for under $800. My wife won hers in a raffle.

Just wanted to say hi from Ohio, I am new to the sport of long range shooting. I am going to try my luck with a Ruger Mini 14 Target model with a Konus 4.5-16 x 40mm scope.
