That is what I am thinking. Only reason I wish it hadn’t run off was so I could take a pic of it. As long is it is dead, I succeeded. It was stalking those birds and I prefer to keep them around.

my rifle shoots the 73gr eldm seated to max length in the asc mag really well. I haven’t tried them seated to ar mag length. Rather have that room for powder.

I have some asc stainless mags that let me load to 2.312”. The conversion with ai type mags let you get 2.500” oal. Need to call and get the parts, wish you could just order them online.

Most all my shots are inside 300 yds. There are not too many longer shots in my area. I don’t see there being too much difference between the 53 and the 55 in the terminal effect. The 53’s shoot better for me so i will keep shooting them.
