I bought a new howa 300 win mag which I thought had #6 24" barrel. When I received it, it has #2 contour barrel. I usually like the heavier barrels for accuracy and am trying to decide rather to swap it out. I kind of like that it is lighter but it is only 1.3# difference and am afraid will hurt...
I found a good load with 162 eld match and 48 grains ramshot hunter. Shot .38@100 yds. I didnt have chrono though to see how fast it was. I am wanting an elk load though and dont know if i trust eld match to stay together. I like ablr because it is bonded.
Want it to be temp stable. Can get hot down here in texas, but want to be able to shoot in cold weather too. That was why I didn't look at 17. I have H4350, Hunter, Reloader 17. Will have to try and find some 16. I think Hunter may produce good velocity too though. Actually just noticed ramshot...
I was wondering if someone could run quickload for me with 168 accubond long range in 7mm-08. Winchester Brass 2.880 Coal. 20" barrel. I was thinking Ramshot Hunter, H4350, or reloader 16.
thanks
Justin
I am wanting to load the 75 grain swift scirocco II in my 22-250 and can't find any data for it.
I will be shooting them in a Savage 22-250 with a 1 in 9" twist and a 22" barrel. I am gonna try seating them @ 2.490" OAL. Could someone please run some numbers for me to help with powder...
I mean look at our economy and some of these players still gripe that they arn't getting the money they deserve. Makes me sick.......when a teams gives a man a 6 year contract for 100 million dollars to play a game..something is bad wrong with our priorities
What good is protection if we lose all of our rights? I would rather have the burden of defending myself and be free to do as I please. Seems to me if you go to a hotel or gas station our government is trying to help foreigners more than it's own people. Habib owns about everyone of them you go...
I have one in 308 and I love it. When I first got it I shot some groups under an inch, but it would string shots erratically because of the cheapo stock on it. I bought a bell and carlson light tactical in the olive drab with black webbing and it is Wayyyyyyyyyyyy better. I can shoot groups...
Thanks for your replies guys, but I mis understood the salesman from ER Shaw. The contour I had chosen didn't allow for the use of the factory barrel nut to be used, so he wanted to know if my smith preferred a short or long CHAMBERED barrel. They won't do factory throat work....is all SAAMI...
