Options for a good factory 18"-20" 6.5 Creedmoor?

The Sig Cross would fit those two requirements.

Heavy for caliber vs. high velocity monos

How does your zero compare between the two? Do you just have one zeroed and zero dope memorized for other one then dial/hold from there?

Heavy for caliber vs. high velocity monos

Wow. I would like to say something more poetic, but I think "wow" will suffice.

Opinions - Most Accurate $500 ish 22LR rifle

Ya, I was actually getting it for $6-8 for a box of 50 before. I am sure the price is up there now. Luckily I have a stash! Lol

Opinions - Most Accurate $500 ish 22LR rifle

I just have a cheap 20 year old base model savage mark II that I use as a bolt gun to practice with. Trigger is terrible and the stock leaves a lot to be desired, but it shoots. It hits consistently and easily out to 300 yards on a 12x12 plate with Norma match. Some of the new savages with the...

Do you use your hand loads to get on paper?

Ya, I use my hand loads. As others have mentioned start short (25 yards). Get the rifle steady on its own (front and rear rest). Then, take your bolt out and look down the barrel and put your desiered poi in the middle of the barrel and adjust scope to meet it. This should get you on at 25, then...

    Typical Field Rest

I agree that practicing and finding the best one that works for you is the way to go. However, as a guy who has tried prone, kneeling, sitting, and standing positions, here is what works best for me in hunting situations. Sitting with a Tripod and a Triclawps double cam on a pan head so I am...

    What rifle to get.

Love your story! Tip of the cap to you! I would say that there is a lot of good options out there and I honestly don’t have enough experience to recommend a specific rifle. I can however say that the heavier the rifle the more it will want to stay still. So, iI would recommend getting as heavy...

    Toughest Long Range Hunting Optic?

I don’t even own a Nightforce right now (I have though). And if if my life depended on it, I would go Nightforce as well. I would probably lean towards the 4-16 ATACR.

    How to deprime live primers?

I have just used a standard decapping die. I just make sure no other primers or powder in the immediate surrounding area and I throw on some safety glasses.

    Any Interest in Reloading Services?

This is exactly the input I am looking for. I tend to be super optimistic about things and I need people to tell me the downsides! Haha. I agree that the insurance cost could become an issue. As with the process being long and tedious, I agree, but I also enjoy it.
