I have a 4x12 Monarch on a Savage 243. Very happy with its optics and tracking, as I like to dial my elevation.

Don't get your hopes up for those stands you were talking about. It's more likely you will walk your butt off in our beautiful mtns. :D

Got both. I do like my Savage HS Precision, but prefer my Manners MCS-T more.

If it shoots that good how could you not like it?:)

A friend of mine had the Advanced Tactical, with the McMillan adjustable A5 stock. It was a 1/2" gun.

I have a Mod 10 Predator with an accustock and a Mod 10 HS Precision. While they are both good shooters, I'll take the HS any day over the accustock.

Any idea why they are listed so cheap? I see what appears to be the same factory stock listed at Stocky's, under Bell and Carlson stocks, for over $200.00.

Have 2 (3x9) FFIIs, one Six series 2x12 and one 1x4 XTR. Had a 4.5 x 14 FFII. All very good scopes. Good glass. Positive adjustments. Would recommend Burris.
