Yes it is a factory chamber. My finished thickness is .0125. I just clean up the thick spots to try to obtain a consistent neck tension.

If you call RW Hart 1-800-368-3656 they have what they call an offset scope base. It is made of aluminum and will offset the scope 2 1/4" to the side of the firearm. I am looking at it in their 2006 product catalog. They also have a web site, maybe they show a picture of it in there also...

I agree with Boyd. Purchased a 700 PS 300RUM in Jan 01 and have had good results with it up to about 1200 shots fired. It would shoot 180 Nosler BT into .5 to .75 consistently with Fed 215 and 92.5gr RE25 at 3150fps. Jim
