Check out the Hammer 150gn bullet. Great workup and penetration test on their forum.

I like gas pipe joint tape. Basically 2" wide electrical tape that's 10mils thick. One layer does the trick. Also holds up well in blast cabinets when doing finishing work

CFE223 is a top performer with 120gn pills and 7-08 for me

Remington sold factory gas guns in 7-08

X2 on this. CFE-223 is where I live with them

Some people don't care for it, but I've had great results with the lighter bullets(120's) including Hammers and CFE-223 in the 7-08
