Love my X5i 3x18x50 in every way !!! I’ve got SB, NF, Leupold lr Tactical, and the X5i is as good as it gets and not to heavy!!! Best light gathering of any I have ever had in my 50 plus years of long range shooting and LE !!! Not sure the reason for price cuts but jump on it.

Zeiss RF 10x42 are incredible and fast and accurate with ballistic app.

Yes or a scotch brite pad would work as well.

Yes I’ve used that before what shade was the color you used. And I’d say if you want them lighter or darker just adjust the ratio of stain to mineral spirits. Thanks
