Thanks guys, thats my deer bullet. I was wondering why not use it for LR varmits. I've been using IMR4064 (36.2 gr) with .75 in. groups. I'm almost out. Any load suggestions. How bout H4831 SC? They seem to sell a bunch of it at the local supply house.

Will a 280 AI with the right bbl propell a 175 gr. SMK to a sufficient MV to take advantage of the high BC? If so what should be the specs for the tube?

Does anyone make a 100 gr. varmit bullet (i.e., high BC and fragible)? If not, why not? This would be good for those of us who have a standard 10 twist bbl but want the max BC to shoot at LR chucks, etc.

What would be a good bullet choice in a 3006 for smallish deer (100 - 150lbs) at 100 to 200 yards? Any load recommendations would also be greatly appreciated (IMR4064 or H4350 would be helpful)
