I took an elk and 2 deer with 245 berger EOLs this year. The bullets worked like any other Berger, pinhole entry with grenade like effects once inside.

I’ve owned both a 28 Nosler shooting 195s and a 300 prc shooting 245s. The recoil is a little more on the 300 over the 28, but not bad. I’ve killed a lot of elk with the 195s without issue. Every one was one shot and I haven’t had an elk run after being hit. All went right down. I’ve had the...
No problem. I understand the trepidation. The last batch of once fired brass I bought had 4 HOT loads fired in them as evidence by 4 ejector marks on the brass. That was the last time I bought anything again from that guy.
I ordered one this spring from Ryan Pierce with a 7 twist 26” proof barrel. I plan to shoot the 95smk or 90 Berger’s. Will be my wife’s rifle for deer and antelope.
Thanks GreyFox. The G7 doesn’t have actual wind values and aerodynamic jump. This probably isn’t a huge issue for shooting 600 yards and under. Have you noticed any handicaps with the G7 past these ranges for hunting?
