Hey guys, I have a Rem 700 LA and would like to run a NightForce ATACR. My question is if I use the NF one piece 20moa bases what height of rings would provide the least amount of clearance from action/throat? I have a Lemas .300 wby barrel with a short throat. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Etisil, because the 7mm stw is so close in OAL and Case specs i believe that this would work. And you have no problems what so ever with feeding?

Does anyone know if there is a DBM bottom metal kit available for .300 weatherby mag in a Remington 700 action. Based on the case differences of the .300 win and the .300 wby i am thinking that the .300win kit will not work with a .300 wby cartridge. I am hoping someone has experience with this...

The only reason I don't think that it is a Parker Hale is that the proofing stamps are consistent with Belgium not England.

As you can see the cheek rest is extremely large compared to a Rem 700 on left or Sako 85 on right.

The stock is not a left handed stock... the cheek rest is on the left side of the stock... just like every other RH stock i have ever seen.

Do you still have this scope?

The rifle shot great...chambered the 300 weatherbys fine. I don't know what you mean about the left handed/right handed comment but i shoot right handed and the action worked well for me. The safety lever looks nothing like other mausers i have seen... still curious about the barrel... i am...
