I shoot both the 7 STW and the 7 RUM. My son now shoots my STW and I still use the RUM. All my STWs and RUM have brakes. This is so my grandsons will soon be able to handle them. Long ranges, no problem. Nothing like a 7 and RUM early in the morning or late in the evening. Don't be afraid, man...

Never used it. With the results I've had with R25 never saw any reason to rock the boat.

I've been using R25 for years Less than one inch groups at 300 yards with 140 grain Barnes bullets. I have three STWs and they all love it.

I love to give them a little 7 and RUM for breakfast.

I have been using LRX bullets in my 7mm RUM for two years now. Have killed whitetail, mule deer, aoudad, axis and pigs with no problems. The farthest any animal has run is maybe 20 yards. Very accurate flat shooting round. Kills out to 400 yards no problem.
