+1 on BH 209. Using sabots I didn't need to clean between shots, 18 rounds. But I did notice a quick swab ever 6-8 shots helped a lot when using patched round ball, as it got a bit tight. Not nearly as bad a Pyro, though.
Easy to clean with normal gun chems.
4x5 muley jumped out nearly under my feet last fall. Finally squeezed off at 70
yds. My only shot on a mammal all last season. Not the biggest buck taken in the neighborhood last year, but the biggest in my group.
500, for now. my best LR kill so far was a 4x4 mulie, 1 shot @ ~450 yds at 30deg incline, 165gr factory core-lokt in my buddy's Rem 700 -06 (I had left my own rifle behind :-/ )
