not wanting to start something and i know a lot of people swear by them. ButI I've had several bad experiences with the berger hunting bullets. they are the most accurate bullets I've ever shot. but I want use them for hunting.

H 1000, start at 69 gr. Work up. My pet load is 70.7 gr. Of H 1000

I've had the same type results with Berger hunting bullets. I no longer use Berger bullets for hunting.

You said it's for a hunting rifle. So any of the barrel manufacturers, that you named. Will do a great job.

Take the depriving pen out of your die, and start resizeing.

ABLR for hunting , berger's for paper and steel

I can ring steel out to 1200 yards. But 750 yards is the max that i feel comfortable shooting game, and only then under the right conditions.

For what you're looking for 284 Winchester. Short action, almost the same ballistic's as 280 Ackley Improved.

I love the higher magnification, I like being able to place my shots as precise as I can.

Berger hunting bullets are just match bullets. I don't care how many kills anyone has made with them.
