This may seem like a dumb question but when installing these insert rings, and wanting to get 20moa more out of your scope, does the thicker insert go on the top or bottom in the front ring, and do you make it the opposite for the rear? never used them before. THANKS!

Hi everyone! I have a Leupold Vari X III 4.5x14 with a 1" tube, I have been told that at long ranges I will run out of adjustment, My question is can I use a mount with 20 or 15 moa added to help with this problem? Or do I need to purchase a new scope? Thanks!
