I wonder how the Monos will perform at distance on game, I know they are supposed to be good but makes me so nervous thinking they won’t open as they should. I’ve had good luck with Hammers sub 400 yards, besides Barnes bullets, which I hate, no other experience with the other brands.

Slow barrel perhaps, it’s super accurate with 135s so it doesn’t worry me much.

I agree, can’t find it anywhere, I have some RL 26, it’ll be faster but temp sensitivity worries me here in TX.

I have a 25 SST with a 26 inch barrel, I can’t get past 3100 fps with H1000 without seeing pressure. It does fit nicely in a SA x sure.

The 25 PrC we’ve been playing with is built on a SA, the lands are @ 2.995, and the bullet(133 EH) is at NS junction around 2.980. We’re pretty happy with 3100s and 133s.

I think you should be able to hit mid 3000s as well, if you use N565 or RL26 you’ll get even more speed

I’ve been shooting one with a friend, one pass neck down on 6.5 Lapua PrC brass, pretty neat gun, shoots 133 EH @ 3130 with H1000 and a 26 inch barrel

I capped at 2850 gps in a 20 inch barrel with RL26 and 175 Bergers.
