My 22 inch m77 likes 63g of R22 and 165 NBT .01 off the lands,good for 2990. My ten round .5 grain ladder measured about 1moa. Rifle is bedded and floated.I’m happy with that. Right out of the Nosler book. If I can’t get more R22 I’ll try 6.5 staball next.

I get 3000 and change using 70.5 gr Imr 4831and 225 hornady. Rifle is a ruger hawkeye. No muzzle device,a pachmeyer shotgun decelerator mitigates felt recoil. Most accurate rifle I own,shoots .3 moa

R22 61 grains gets 2900 with 178 eldx out of 24 inch Remington.

My Hawkeye likes 70.5 gr imr 4831 225 sst Hornady brass 2990 FPS .3 moa

Right out of Noslers book,63 grains of R22.165 nbt 2990 out of my ruger 77 22 inch barrel. 10 shot ladder was 1.1 Moa. 63 grains .4 moa. Good enough for me. Really makes the old 30-06 reach out. This,by the way,is the fastest published load I have found.
