I went through the same thing and went with the PRC. If I was to do it again would do a 6.5-06AI.

They are my go to now, check the 2-3 times a day.

If you ever get disabled the Cross Bow will allow you to continue hunting. I was not a crossbow fan but after my 3rd Cervical Neck Fusion I now realize crossbows have a place.

I have the 2-10 older Vortex Xbow scope and just purchased a new 10 Point scope to try. I'm always looking for a better Xbow scope.
