I personally think a 270 wsm with reloader 26 and a 170 Berger EOL would be the golden ticket to fill that gap. That combo would easily get into the 3000 fps range and that bullet has a .7++ BC. Benchmark makes a .277 1:8 twist barrel which would be perfect. I personally plan on building one for...
