I store both shotguns and rifles horizontal and right way up, this gives a slight muzzell down effect allowing any oil in the bore of a shotgun to drain away from the action.

Thanks Dave, I tended to use Quicktarget for making a drop chart but the Eskimo JMB one is better as it will show clicks for windage as opposed to the actual amount of drift in inches,
