I have CF barrel version in 6.5 PRC. It shoots factory 143’s into 1/2” and 147’s into one ragged 3/8” hole. Haven’t even messed with handloads yet. These are the best factory rifles I’ve ever handled.

I’m going to be loading 208 ELDM’s with N565, RS Hunter and H4350/4831sc. Not your 200 gr bullet, but close. I’m comparing published data with QL to come up with 3 sets of rounds for each powder with 0.5 grain increments. I’m starting in mid-range of stated load data.

I had everything BUT a .30 cal. I have 28 Nos, 270 WSM, 6.5 PRC along with some smaller and some much bigger calibers. Everything I owned for elk/mulie/mountain rifles weighed 9.5# up, scoped. I found, debated and bought a pre-made OMR rifle in 300 WSM. I'm loading 200 and 212 gr ELD-X...

I bought an Oregon Mountain Rifle and it has a Bix'n Andy trigger. Had never seen one...always used Timney or TT. This came set at 1.25# and breaks like a thin glass rod every time. I've never used a better trigger. G

How do you like the Begara’s?

That one was another I looked into….mostly great reviews. A buddy works for a distributor for Springfield….told me to hold off until I could put my hands on the Waypoint. His choice was Springfield, Bergara and Seekins….in that order.

Looking at both the 2020 and Mountain 2.0….in 6.5 PRC. This is for elk/mulie hunting and some LR work for fun. Will be following….

My son used a Ruger Magnum in SA to take 7 head....biggest was a gemsbuck.....used the 260 Accubond. Excellent performance. GB
