    Revolver Turkeys

Impressive! I just cant seem to get my accuracy to that level to try it or I would.

    Gun works rifles

I too enjoy watching their TV shows. I consider myself a pretty good judge of people and the Davidson family seems to be a class act. However, I have always been a DIY guy and always will be even though I have been successful enough to buy one of their rifles if I wanted to. Instead of buying a...

    SOLD/EXPIRED Remington 700 Classic .270 Win

I have that exact gun, one of the most accurate I have ever owned. My son shot it to 880 yards with Leupold 3.5x10x50. Has an extraordinarily good factory trigger. I was thinking they were 1984 year models, may be wrong. One of the few I will never sell.

    Steiner predator 4 and 8

I have used Steiner binoculars for a long time and love them. Never been around their scopes though.

Fox Pro, Lucky Duck, or Icotec

Lucky duck works very well on coyotes, good volume and good battery life.

    Anyone use a 10 gauge?

I shoot a H&R single barrel 10 for turkeys religiously. Loaded with 2 1/2 oz of TSS8 it is sudden death for Toms out to a long, long range. Put a Leupold 2-7x32 on a picatinny rail on mine and had it threaded for chokes. Most people like a 20 gauge these days, my 10 will put more pellets in a 10...

Question on barrel upgrade, 700 Rem SA

I currently have a 2005 straight factory Model 700 stainless synthetic chambered in .300RSAUM. Barrel does not have enough diameter to thread for suppressor, and was wondering what companies make a barrel that was 18" or 20" and threaded that would fit my stock channel without any modification...

    Guided elk hunt

Just because you hire an outfitter doesnt mean you WILL kill an elk. I went on an outfitted hunt a few years ago where 4 hunters killed 2 bull elk. The 2 that did not kill did not even see an elk. Each hunter paid $6500. Research an outfitter extensively before you go.

    Most challenging N.A. bow hunt?

Don't leave out Archery Ibex in the Florida mountains of southern New Mexico. 3-4% success rate

New Mexico recommends NO use of scopes on muzzleloaders

Will this reduce the number of people wanting/applying for muzzy elk tags? If so, that increases the chances of people that are ok with a muzzy with no scope.

    My Alaskan Adventure

I had heard you need protection in bear country, but that seems a little weak, lol

December weather northern Colorado unit 6

I remember it like it was yesterday, but was 1994 and first trip to Antonito in Southern Co. Arrived the evening before gun season for elk and drove around the mountain roads scouting thinking life is good. Woke up about 5 am and snow was almost touching the front bumper of the truck in motel...

Where have all the primers gone?

Well. I posted here on July 26 that my LGS had primers at $129 per brick. Not only are they still there, but they have added additional stock still at the same price.

Where have all the primers gone?

My LGS just got some after a 2 year hiatus, but they are $129 per brick. Curious to see how long they last

    Steiner’s new scopes

I also have been using Steiner peregrine 10x42 binos for last 14 years and love them. Not sure why their scope line doesnt get much love.
