What velocity's are you getting out of your 338wsm?? I used to have a 338Jamison, that I was only getting 338-06 velocity's out of, 2600-2700fps

Hmmm, I probably would have never thought to use H4350 but I will now. I usually go for the 4831, h1000 or retumbo. Gonna have to give it shot!

I have preferred the vertical rings for years and maybe its just me but I noticed less movement of the scope when tightening at set up. That and fewer screws. They are a little bit of a pain in the @55 to set up since your not just attaching the bottom or the ring and setting the scope in it.

I've always had trouble staying on the gun and in the scope, so that is why I was originally interested in the nimrod. Anything that will help with that the better. The nimrod is nice and very light, But the palm swell would take some getting used to. The Rok stock feels more natural in that...

The Proof that I have is a 1.2" shank, the Vesper action has a minimum of 1.25" due to it's 1.125 thread diameter. If anyone is interested in it I'll let it go for what I Paid for it $625 shipped other wise I may keep it and put it on a ruger and have a fast twist 270.
