Anybody load 168 TTSX in 308 Win?

The fastest I got was 2750 using win 748 in a 22” bbl. No other powder was anywhere close. Pretty compressed load though.

Do you lap the whole ring or just bottom half only

Big discrepencies you can tell by looking at them. They don’t look concentric. The most common problematic place is where the ring halves meet. I’ll post a pic in a little while to show what I mean.

How will my cases fail and when?

What you are saying is that working the brass more makes it last longer. That could actually be a meme it’s so ridiculous.

How will my cases fail and when?

If you actually tried to do what I posted, you would quickly agree. Take the 6.5 creed case for example, a large primer pocket case will take less abuse over the small primer pocket case. Different design is what dictates failure points. You can run the small primer pocket case much harder.

How will my cases fail and when?

Resistance when seating a primer. Some fail to hold a primer after running hot loads.

How will my cases fail and when?

Not everybody pushes the envelope. Cases that are neck sized only, with mild to medium loads, don’t fail to chamber. If your neck sized cases fail to chamber, you are pushing your cartridge past it’s designed limit, period. Same with loose primer pockets. They loosen from exceeding design limits.
