I use Scopecoats on all my scopes. They cover the entire scope and keeps debris and rain/snow out. I carry my rifles in Eberlstock packs. They have been in and out hundreds of times and never had a problem with anything moving on my Nightforce scopes.
Have you tried a slow cooker? Season them and put them in slow cooker and pour a can of undiluted cream of mushroom soup on top. Cook on low for about 4 hours depending on how thick they are cut. It comes out fork tender and covers a pile of mashed potatoes nicely :)
I have mild hearing loss and a slight amount of ringing in my ears from a miss guided youth. I never wore hearing protection while hunting until I got my 338 Lapua AI with muzzle brake. Now I'm deathly afraid to touch that off without hearing protection but it is always a scramble to get plugs...
Steve,
I have a barreled action waiting for stock to get here. 7-08 AI 24" 1-8 twist. I was originally looking at a 143HH and trying to get stability factor above 2. Question is do you think 1-8 will be a little too much of a good thing for the 120HH?
