Anyone here knowledgeable on Enfield actions??

The P-17 and P-14 actions are what A-square builds their Hannibal rifles on. They are chambered in .577 Tyrannosaur. They are VERY strong actions. Many a .338 Lapua has been built on them.

    mark 5 action

I built my custom on a Mark V. It is in the pictures section. It did take quite awhile to get the lugs all lapped, but I'm quite happy with the result.

New Member seeking advice for rifles legal in Alberta

It's not that 50BMG is prohibited, it's that 50BMG is not exportable from the US. So, any 50BMG rifles, etc. come to Canada from sources other than the US.

When reloading becomes the best option

Shoot a Weatherby. I've got 7 loadings on my original cases, so far. Factory ammo, when I bought 1 box 2 years ago, was $78 for 20.

Need load data for 7mm weatherby mag

My factory barreled 7mm weatherby worked well with 70.5 gr. of H4831, Winchester LRM primers and a 3.5" COAL. 168 gr. Bergers. Light ejector marks over 6 firings on the brass. After I rebarreled it, 70.4 gr. is the most accurate. 3100 fps ES of 8. sub M.O.A. at 200 yds. 168 gr. Bergers I...

Does anyone have a Custom Browning?

A friend of mine shoots an A-bolt in .300 win. Heavy S.S barrel, Muzzle brake, Nightforce 5.5-22 and I've seen a few 4" groups at 700 yds. He put a spring kit in the trigger to get the pull weight down.

    anyone using the 168gr. SMK?

I have been shooting the 168gr. Bergers for the last couple of years. I have been pleased with their performance, both at the range and on game. However, the local availability has been not promising. I picked up 300 vlds last year and haven't seen any since. I'm down to 223 after nearly...

    My recently finished rifle

It sat in my suppliers warehouse for 2 years before I got it. It was in my shop for another 2 before I started turning it into a stock. It's very dry and only gave off an odor when it was being cut, or sanded. It's got 2 coats of Tung oil on it now. The weight makes for a comfortable...

    My recently finished rifle

The stock was made from a piece of Eucalyptus leftover from a job we did a couple of years ago. I think the figure is very striking, it's quite heavy though. Rifle weighs just over 13 lbs.

    My recently finished rifle

I finished this a few weeks ago. Weatherby Mark V action. All work was completed by myself. Turned a mandrel to fit into the action bore. Cut the action perpendicular to the bolt centerline. Made a spring tool to lap all 9 locking lugs and to square the bolt face. The barrel is a 27.5"...

    berger?

Haven't shot an elk with my 7mm Weatherby, but every whitetail I've shot with the 168gr. vld's has been under 250 yds and all have been through and through. 4 were rib shots and 1 at 129 yds through both shoulders.

    As Promised, 30-30 Load Data

I read an article about this years ago. The author built a mock magazine with same dia. round tubing. He cut a slot the length of it (to see inside) and put some spire point loaded 30-30 rounds in it. Due to the rim, all the cartridges were angled, and he had to actually shim them all to get...
